Research on Mesoscale Nucleation and Growth Processes in Solution Crystallization: A Review

چکیده

In recent studies, the existence of mesoscale precursors has been confirmed in crystallization. Different from classical crystallization theory, which only considers sequential attachment basic monomers (atoms, ions, or molecules), nonclassical process involving such as prenucleation clusters, nanoparticles, and mesocrystals is more complicated. The structure important for quantitative description directional regulation solution process. It necessary to explore mechanism by scientific research methods on base traditional chemical engineering system methods. Therefore, paper reviews several representative nucleation growth theories, mainly including two-step clusters particle agglomeration amorphous precursor theory mesocrystal theory. Then, its spatiotemporal dynamic behavior are discussed, application EMMS model analyzed. Finally, we put forward our views prospect paradigms theoretical innovations using crystal growth.
